FALL BRINGS CHANGE AND WINTER BRINGS A DEEPER PRACTICE

As winter approaches I first want to say thank you to each of you who have been participating in classes both in person and online. I believe the sharing of this positive energy that we generate through our practice nourishes us on our path to radiant health, mindfulness, and spiritual growth. All of these things walk hand in hand, and our practice of mindful yin yoga feeds our overall wellbeing in a multitude of ways.
I have been given an opportunity to spend the winter months in Mexico. As details began to fall into place, I realized that this was something I should not pass up, and, in fact, seemed to be calling me. One of the beliefs I have always shared is that we should listen to that inner voice that sometimes guides us even when logic and thought patterns may at first push an idea away. Often, it is fear of change that influences us, so I decided to embrace the change, and let things unfold as they will!

So on November 19 I will set up house in a small fishing community, called La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, and I am hoping you will join me on line underneath the sunny skies of the Bay of Banderas in Mexico.
As always, classes are low and slow, with the intention of fostering a deep sense of relaxation, releasing tension, reducing joint and muscle pain, releasing tightness and tension in the fascia, and promoting mental and emotional wellbeing.
LIVE CLASSES AND SUPPORTING VIDEOS: I am inviting you to join me online to continue our exploration of Yin Yoga and to strengthen our practice. Each live class will be held in two different time slots that you can choose from: Wednesdays at 11:00 am EST, and Wednesdays at 5:30 pm EST, so that we keep our personal connection. Its like having your own private class at home, without having to brave the winter weather.
Each class will include a video recording that will be emailed to you within 24 hours. This means that even if you miss a practice or want to repeat the class at another time, you will be able to build a resource library for your convenience. Additional short videos may be issued to explain a posture or a concept in more depth, so that we may feel more at ease with a new posture or a deeper variation of a posture we are familiar with, or perhaps to locate an acupressure point that offers specific benefits.
We generally gather 10 to 15 minutes before a class online, and welcome any observations or questions. This also helps us build a sense of community if we wish. Conversely, you can join the class and turn off your camera and audio as you simply observe and participate quietly. Pre-registration is required.
ZOOM is an easy tool to use and you will receive a direct link via e-mail.
I am always available for questions, and throughout the practice I will use my voice to guide you so that there is no need to strain to see or figure out what is going on. You can relax into the postures and engage fully in your Yin experience.

EIGHT SESSIONS: This eight session block of classes will take place on Wednesdays between November 29, 2023 and January 24, 2024, and there will be two time slots offered. There is no class on December 27. In this series, we will focus on postures that enhance the organs, meridians, and energies related to each of the 7 chakras.
The chakras offer an energetic blueprint to our well-being, and each relates specifically to an area of the body, muscle groups and fascia, various organ systems, and energies that the body holds. This additional perspective will deepen our self understanding and motivate positive change.
REGISTRATION: Can be made on line at www.dalepearsonyoga.com, or via e-mail if you have any questions, anndalepearson@icloud.com. To see details please go to the website and click on “Sessions”, then “Courses”, and then choose which time slot is for you by ‘reading more’, and then clicking on Book Now. The follow up video will arrive within 24 hours in your email box after each session.
