Hola, Friends,

Happy spring!  With its promise of life, rebirth and renewal.  Spring is here to remind us of these things..... a tiny seed, scattered in the wind, to grow into something beautiful and miraculous.  Tend your garden, plant your seeds, nourish them with all the elements, and watch them grow.

As I anticipate my return from Mexico to the north, I look forward to seeing you, to reconnecting with friends and community, and to planting the seeds of my garden and nurturing the soil of my life.  What seeds will you be planting?

While I don’t have specific dates set up at the moment, I hope to begin live classes later in May after I am home, and look forward to Yoga in the Garden this summer.

I have been loving being in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Nayarit, Mexico, and have made some beautiful connections with the land and the people here.  I have loved doing my online classes (there is a new 5 week series starting next week), and I am thankful for the participants who have been with me each week in practice.

Recently there has been a flood of interest in the benefits of somatic movement to support physical, mental and emotional health.  For years now I have combined somatic movement with gently held yin postures, offering a dynamic and effective approach to embodiment and self awareness, the relief of chronic pain, release of tensions, improved emotional balance, and increased flexibility, agility, and self awareness.  These sessions are widely accessible and leave each participant feeling better on many levels.  While every session differs in some way, the theme of stillness combined with mindful movement to support and nourish us is the same.

Sharing these classes is one of the joys in my life, and I hope I will see you at a session soon!  The seeds were planted for my practice so long ago: meditation, mindful somatic movement, yin yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qi Gong, Water Yoga, Tools for Stress Management, and new learnings that continue to add to the garden, nourished with love, curiosity and hope.  I’m thankful for the weeds, too….the challenges that have made me stronger and more resilient.  (Yoga in the Garden can teach us a lot, at many levels:).

Be well and drop me a line if you can.  www.dalepearsonyoga.com, and anndalepearson@icloud.com.

Much love,

Dale
